What started as a FRIENDS themed joke between co-workers has led us to over 15 years of joyfully wedding couples all over Wisconsin, Illinois, and Iowa. From an intimate wedding in the woods with no guests to a full out celebration on your favorite golf course with 350 of your closest friends, each wedding is unique, tailored to the couple, and remembered as one of the most joyful moments in their lives.
We cater to all couples, visions, beliefs, and love to help you think of outside-the-box ways to showcase your love and commitment!
Today we are a team of 5 (and growing), operating as a family business offering you the Friends and Family Experience when you use our variety of planning services, officiants, and custom charcuterie catering!

“Kerri was AMAZING! From our first meeting to our actual ceremony, she was a friendly, calm, organized, and just a delight to work with. She really made us feel comfortable and put us at ease. She also has her timing down and checked in when it was time to start working on writing the ceremony, right before the rehearsal dinner, and after the ceremony—all with helpful information and reminders (e.g., bring the marriage license to the rehearsal dinner, letting us know she filed it and when our marriage certificate should be ready). Both our rehearsal and our ceremony were a breeze, too.
Kerri knows what she’s doing, and she does it well. She even made an excellent suggestion at the rehearsal to flip the seating, so my family sat on the side where my husband stood and his parents sat behind me. This seating allowed them to actually see us, and our faces, during the ceremony (i.e, my family could see me and his could see him 🤯). Genius! Our ceremony was also exactly what we wanted—personal, funny, and short and sweet. When we got our “sneak peek” pics from the photographer, I also noticed that Kerri had stealthily stepped aside after saying we could kiss, so the picture is just me and my now husband. My sister said it was all one smooth motion, too, where she closed her notebook and did a side-step out of the way.

Meet the Team

Kerri Wilson is an ordained non-denominational minister, having served hundreds of couples. She is passionate about making sure that your ceremony represents you as a couple, helping you to craft the perfect ceremony script and ensuring that your wishes are met above all others.
Kerri has also worked in the health and wellness field for over a decade and has learned that feeding others is her love language. She is thrilled to have finally found the literal marriage between food and weddings and is now able to help you and your guests have fun, aesthetically pleasing food experiences that can be custom created for those with particular dietary needs, ensuring that everyone can enjoy!

Chuck Wilson is our newest ordained minister, having officially joined us in 2025. He brings his organization and humor into his work, helping couples to feel at ease and relaxed about their ceremony. Chuck is an excellent leader, public speaker, and is excited to officially be on the Truly Yours Weddings officiant roster.
Chuck and his 3 sons have been behind the scenes for the last several years holding down the fort at home so Kerri could serve couples on their wedding day, and most recently as the Official Muscle Team. They’ve done everything from helping unload cars at rehearsals to being the day-of staff, setting up tables and chairs, moving barrel tables and all things heavy, clearing dishes, and generally filling in as needed.

Desiree Gonzalez is a certified wedding planner and stylist (with a background in interior design) and is thrilled to be partnering with her mom!
She grew up watching her mom fall in love with weddings. After planning weddings for friends and family she is delighted to be working with couples all over Wisconsin. She has an eye for design that has been evident since she was a toddler and loves to use her creative mind and love of budget shopping to help couples create their vision in a realistic and affordable way!

Stacey has the work ethic that we all dream of. She loves to stay busy, and when you combine that with her eye for detail, she’s just the person to help you get things done…and sometimes even better than you thought they’d be!
Stacey helped Kerri design her own wedding, keeping her sane through the entire process and making sure she stayed on track with all that needed to be done. She’s helped with several weddings since then as the go-to person day-of. Whether it’s directing vendors, assisting Kerri and Desiree, or just keeping the evening moving with the itinerary, you can rest easy with Stacey on site!

Aaron Covey joined the team in 2023. After officiating his cousin’s wedding in 2021, he knew he wanted to help other couples have the special day they want.
He believes that each person can marry who they want, when they want, in the way they want, and loves to make sure couples have the wedding ceremony that fits them. He provides that with a mix of kindness, humor and an approachability that has left every couple satisfied with his service.
Aaron has loved working alongside Kerri over the years and is looking forward to creating more memorable and unique ceremonies!
