Questions we’ve been asked more than once…so you know you’re not alone.

A wedding planner helps you take all of the ideas, decisions, vendors, details, and logistics that come with planning a wedding and turn them into an actual, cohesive celebration.
At Truly Yours, that can mean helping you build a realistic budget, find and communicate with vendors, create a timeline, plan logistics, develop your wedding design, coordinate your rehearsal, and manage the details on your wedding day.
Most importantly, we're here to make the planning process feel manageable and to make sure your wedding feels like you, rather than something copied from Pinterest.
-
A wedding coordinator takes over the logistics of your wedding as the big day approaches so you don't have to spend your wedding day answering questions, directing vendors, or fixing problems.
Our Month-of Coordination service is designed for couples who have done the planning themselves but want a professional to step in, take over vendor communication and logistics, build the final timelines, coordinate the rehearsal, and manage the wedding day.
Think of us as the people who know what is supposed to happen, when it's supposed to happen, and what to do when it doesn't quite happen that way.
-
A wedding planner helps you plan the wedding. A wedding coordinator helps you execute the wedding you've planned.
Full-service planning can begin at the beginning and carry through your wedding day, including vendor sourcing and contracting, design and styling, timelines, logistics, rehearsal, and onsite execution.
Coordination is a great fit when you've already done most of the planning but want a professional to take the reins as your wedding approaches.
Not sure which one you need? That's exactly what your complimentary consultation is for. We'll talk through where you are and what kind of support would actually be helpful.
-
Sometimes yes and sometimes no!
A venue coordinator and a wedding coordinator generally have different responsibilities. Your venue coordinator is focused on the venue itself: the building, venue policies, catering requirements, room setup, and venue staff. Your wedding coordinator is focused on you, your timeline, your vendors, your ceremony, your décor, and the overall flow of your wedding day.
If you're wondering whether you need both, we're happy to look at what your venue coordinator actually handles and help you determine whether additional coordination would benefit you.
-
Absolutely! In fact, many of our couples come to us after they've already booked their venue and several vendors.
You don't have to hire a wedding planner at the beginning of your engagement for us to be helpful. Whether you need help getting organized, designing the details, finding a few remaining vendors, or taking over the logistics as your wedding approaches, we can meet you wherever you are in the planning process.
-
As soon as you know you want us involved, reach out!
Popular wedding dates, especially Saturdays during peak wedding season, can book well in advance. That said, we also work with couples planning shorter engagements and weddings that are much closer to the date.
If your wedding is coming up and you're thinking, "Oh no, we should have hired someone sooner," don't panic. Just ask. We may still be able to help!

We believe your wedding should reflect the two of you, not someone else's expectations of what a wedding is supposed to look like.
We welcome all couples, wedding styles, beliefs, traditions, and celebrations. Whether you're planning a traditional wedding, an intimate gathering, an unconventional celebration, or something that doesn't fit neatly into a category, we'd love to hear what you're dreaming up.

Item descriptionOur Month-of Coordination service is for couples who have planned their wedding but want a professional to take over the logistics as the wedding approaches.
We'll work with you to finalize the details, create timelines for the day before, wedding day, and following day, communicate with your vendors, coordinate the rehearsal, and manage the wedding-day logistics.
Our goal is simple: you get to be married. We handle the wedding.
Our Month-of Coordination starts at $1,500 for weddings up to 120 guests.
-
This is an important distinction!
Day-of Assistance is primarily about the physical work of setting up and tearing down. It's a great option if you've planned your wedding yourself and simply need extra hands on the wedding day.
Month-of Coordination is much more comprehensive. We step into the planning process ahead of the wedding, communicate with vendors, create and manage timelines, coordinate the rehearsal, and oversee the wedding-day logistics.
If you're looking for someone to carry boxes and set tables, Day-of Assistance may be the right fit. If you want someone to make sure the entire day actually runs according to plan, you're probably looking for Coordination.
-
Our coordination doesn't magically begin at midnight before your wedding!
We believe good wedding coordination requires preparation. We'll work with you in the weeks leading up to your wedding to gather the details, communicate with vendors, create timelines, review logistics, and make sure everyone knows where they're supposed to be and what they're supposed to be doing.
The exact timing depends on your wedding and the scope of services you've booked.
-
Yes!
A detailed wedding timeline is one of the most important tools we use to keep your wedding day moving smoothly.
We'll help coordinate the timing of vendor arrivals, setup, getting ready, photos, ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, special events, and teardown. We'll also build in the little pieces that are easy to forget when you're planning your own wedding.
And because weddings are real life, not military operations,we know the timeline may need to flex. Our job is to keep things moving without making you feel like you're being rushed through your own wedding.
-
Yes, when included with your planning or coordination service.
The rehearsal isn't about making everyone memorize choreography. It's about making sure your wedding party knows where to stand, where to go, when to move, and what to expect so everyone can relax when the real thing happens.
We'll walk everyone through the process and answer questions before they become wedding-day problems.
-
Yes. Vendor communication is a big part of what we do.
We'll work with your vendors to make sure everyone has the information they need, understands the timeline, knows where to go, and knows who to contact if questions arise.
On your wedding day, our goal is for Truly Yours to be the go-to person so you and your family aren't fielding questions from the DJ, photographer, florist, caterer, or delivery driver.
-
Yes, depending on the service you've booked. If your package doesn’t allow enough hours, we can add additional hours a la carte.
Our Day-of Assistance service is specifically designed for couples who need help with setup and teardown. Our planning, coordination, and design services can also include setup and/or teardown based on the scope of your service.
We'll talk through exactly what needs to be done during your consultation so there are no surprises about who is responsible for what.
-
Something probably will.
Not necessarily something terrible; maybe a boutonnière breaks, a vendor is running late, the weather changes, someone can't find the seating chart, or the cake arrives with an unexpected plot twist.
That's why you hire professionals.
We'll assess the situation, communicate with the appropriate people, and solve what can be solved without bringing unnecessary stress to you. Our goal is to protect your experience and keep small problems from becoming your problems.
-
Absolutely.
You don't need to start from scratch to benefit from professional wedding planning help.
If you've already booked your venue, photographer, DJ, florist, or other vendors, we'll work with what you've already created. We can help fill the gaps, organize the information, develop your timeline and logistics, and make sure all of the pieces work together.

Wedding design is about much more than choosing your colors.

Our Design + Styling service includes a personalized design concept, color palette and design direction, décor recommendations, access to our décor inventory, design meetings, sourcing and production time, and onsite styling.
Design + Styling starts at $2,700.

One of the fun parts of working with Truly Yours is that you don't have to start from zero. We have a growing collection of décor and styling pieces that can be incorporated into your wedding design.
Design, planning, and coordination clients receive access to our décor inventory at a discount, and we also offer décor rentals separately.
If we don't have exactly what you're looking for, we'll help determine whether it makes more sense to source it, create it, purchase it, or find another solution.

That's one of our favorite things to do!
Maybe you have a Pinterest board with 437 screenshots and no idea how they all go together. Maybe you know you want "romantic but not too formal" and "colorful but not chaotic." Maybe all you have is a favorite flower and a vague feeling.
That's enough to start.
We'll help turn those ideas into a cohesive design that feels intentional and personal to you, not like you simply picked a wedding trend and copied it.
-
Yes, depending on the service you've selected.
Our Design + Styling service includes onsite styling, and setup and teardown can be incorporated into our planning and coordination services as appropriate.
We'll create a clear plan for what is being set up, where it goes, when it needs to be ready, and what happens to everything afterward.

Your wedding officiant leads your ceremony and helps make the moment you actually become married feel meaningful, personal, and most importantly, like you.
Our professional, non-denominational officiants guide you through the ceremony-planning process, create a personalized ceremony script, help with rehearsal guidance, and make sure the ceremony reflects your relationship and your wishes.
Truly Yours officiants serve couples throughout Wisconsin and beyond.
-
Absolutely. In fact, we prefer it that way!
Your ceremony doesn't have to sound like everyone else's. We get to know you, your relationship, your story, your sense of humor, and the things that matter to you, then use those details to create a ceremony that feels authentic.
You can choose how traditional, modern, funny, sentimental, spiritual, or completely unconventional you want your ceremony to be.
-
Of course!
Your vows can be completely your own, and we're happy to provide guidance if you're staring at a blank page thinking, "How am I supposed to summarize my entire relationship in a few minutes?!"
We'll help you understand where vows fit into the ceremony and offer guidance and ideas if you need them.
-
Yes.
Our professional officiants are non-denominational and work with couples with a wide variety of beliefs, backgrounds, and traditions.
Whether you want a traditional religious ceremony, a completely secular ceremony, something spiritual, a blend of traditions, or something that doesn't fit neatly into any category, we'll work with you to create a ceremony that reflects the two of you.

-
